    Upgrading bulb on TLR-1s

I have an older gen Streamlight TLR-1s that only produces 150 lumens.

Is there anyway I can upgrade/replace the bulb so it can produce 300 lumens or more?

I'm unaware of any bulb replacements. Eight years ago, people were wondering if upgrading was possible, too:

I started with a TLR-1, which still works after getting a new switch, and I've now got another two TLR-1HL lights.

Just get a new TLR-1HL and keep the TLR-1S for a spare or put the spare TLR-1S onto another firearm. These lights work fine until they don't. The latest TLR-1HL is rated at 1,000 lumens, a noticeable difference.

They can break down at any moment.

I've got a Surefire X300U-A enroute to Surefire right now as it was working on Wednesday, then by Saturday it was dead. The Surefire needed a new switch, too, at one time, but this time it wasn't the switch or batteries.

A new Streamlight TLR-1HL can be had for ~$140 delivered:

Got a TLR-HL from Primary Arms last week for $114.

        Also got 2 TLR-1s (160 and 300 lumen).

The 160 was on my shotgun. Good enough for close range but always wished it was alittle brighter like the 300.

Shipped out my light to Streamlight this morning.

Upgrading my TLR-1s from 160 to 300 under "Warranty".

Just a caveat: I would recommend never buying firearms parts from Amazon. Their inventory control and logistics processes make it remarkably easy for counterfeit products to infest legitimate ones. It's a feature of the way they do business, so I choose to stay away from them for gun parts.

While generally I would agree with you in this particular case the link is to the Streamlight store on Amazon.
