I'd say one of the 10-pack of PMAG 30 rounders is a better investment IMO. Personally not a fan of drum mags, box mags tend to be a better bang for your buck and less likely to cause technical problems.

I’d go with the pmag 40 for the price but I’d have at least on 60 just because.Comment

It may not be a concern to you, but this is more to show why I chose the 100rnd over the 60. I think the D60 has the same length as a 30rnd mag. I was wanting to get a bunch of 20rnd mags just for the reduced length, then saw the 100rnd mag was even better. Kinda difficult to have the kids shooting a 30rnd mag when it has to be elevated so high off the table

I mean, it is legal to currently buy larger than 10rd magazines in CA? Or no?

From a practical standpoint it doesn't make a ton of sense. It's expensive, heavy and bulky for what it is. And the odds of you being in a situation where a 30 round mag isn't enough, or you don't have two seconds to swap in a fresh mag, are probably pretty small.
But from a fun range toy standpoint, and if you don't care about the money, then get it."Kestryll I wanna lick your doughnut."

The OP lives in Nevada.
Nothing has changed with CA large capacity magazine laws.
^It is still illegal to import, make, or transfer large capacity magazines in CA. [PC 32310(a)]sigpic
