Cleaning Kit Recommendation
Collapse

There are several very comprehensive kits available under $100. As an example, the Otis Elite, which would seemingly clean just about anything.
However, the thing is, you likely don't need to be able to clean anything, and you're going to want to replace things like brushes on the stuff you do clean with some regularity. I'd recommend looking at the Pro-Shot line of products, and just buying what you need. I think their stuff is first-rate, in particular, their cleaning rods are exceptional. -
I like the DAC Winchester universal one and it grows with you. if you only have 1 firearm it might be a little overkill but for $40 its good quality. The brushes and jags are really good. Mops are so so. If you ever get into rifles do not use this cleaning rod on any halfway decent rifle.

Otis cable system. No long cleaning rods to get bent over time. Everything is interchangeable and individual replacement parts can be ordered. If you find yourself in a fair fight, you're doing it all wrong.Comment
