    Gun cabinet, better than nothing

    My son's safe is full. His bedroom is upstairs in his house. I thought this would be a better level of security than hiding his HD guns in the closet without being in a safe.

    Yeah, better than nothing I suppose. Hopefully there's a way to secure it to the floor or wall at least?

      Yep... that's 85 pounds more steel than my dad had protecting his guns.

      Of course, that was 40 years ago too....

      Emphasis on 85 pounds
      If you can't secure it, pretty much anyone would be able to carry it (and your guns) out of the house.
