Looking into a Punch Set

i have 3 basic punches, they pretty much handle everything i need size wise

i have a 1/16", a 1/8", and a 3/32" punch

i saw this on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/MulWark-Piece...unch+set&psc=1 only im not sure if i really need the majority of these sizes, some im sure aren't firearm related

maybe someone can give me some advice on what i should be looking for both in size and strength - if there is a decent set out there, fine, but i want to cover the sizes for my firearms first and foremost, even it it means just buying specific sizes - seems like i need at least one smaller than my 1/16"

i have several different handguns, Beretta, Browning, and 2 AR15's, one in 9mm

I figured out the basics I needed, got them and now whenever I order from the big B I add one or two same with screwdriver tips. hogbody74

Your first link is for roll pin punches. Roll pin punches are necessary for roll pins such as the one used on later Garand lower bands,



on M14/M1A rifles,



and the AR-15 bolt catch.



I would buy individual roll pin punches as needed.

The complement to roll pin punches are cup tip punches for removing and driving in round-head pins used on revolvers and older guns.

Regular flat tip pin punches while slide off of round head pins, or will damage the pins, or both.

get some standard punches, roll pin punches, starter punches, brass punches

Go big or go home and get some Starretts

Check out what brownells has, they have good quality tools.
Lyman has a punch/hammer set in a wood block, its ok, not great
I like the tekton brand too.
