    US M1916 replica holster options?

    I'm in the market for a reproduction/replica US M1916 style holster. It'll be for a Springfield Armory M1911 (Mil-Spec).

It seems there are a bunch of cheaper options in the $30 range, but they're just the cheapo bonded leather and I'm not really a fan of that. I've also seen really nice options in the $150+ range, but that is a little overkill IMO.

Anybody out there have any experience with M1916 style leather holsters in the $50 - 100 range?

You might take a look here.

I have a couple of their other holsters which I'm quite happy with.
"Did I say "republic?" By God, yes, I said "republic!" Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler

Thanks dustoff31! I'm looking into those...look like a good price too.

Now I'm trying to figure out if I actually want the 1916 style or one of the older 1912 "drop leg" styles...I've always been a fan of drop leg holsters. Though I'd have to get a belt with those little riveted hole things.

There is an adapter to wear with a regular belt that has a "flap" with the belt holes so you can use reg belt
