I liked Gun Butter but have moved on to EWL.

I don't know why people hate FL. Only time I had an issue was because I put a chunk of the paste in my firing pin. That was my fault though.

My experience with Frog Lube has been nothing but positive, I do not apply a large amount though, it is usually a thin coat. I have heard of people slapping on large amounts, and their firearm seizing, which never made any sense to me. I would suggest you grab both and seek what works best for you, which is really the only way to find out which one is best for you. one thing to consider, I do most of my shooting in desert terrain, which is warm or hot most of the time and have never had experience in cold or wet climates, where mud and water can get into the firearm. Good luck in your findings.

I've been using Gun Butter for years and I am very happy with it. I don't depend on it to provide corrosion/rust protection, only for lubrication.
