Need some help

Looking at adding some secure longgun storage inside an existing cabinet

Dimensions are 44-48"H x 23"W x 20"D

Basically need a locking gun locker or rack that'll sit out of casual view, that can resist unauthorized access by kids, friends of kids, etc...

We have a small house, so functionally dont have floor space for a safe, so i'm looking for alternatives?

I looked.
I prefer a metal box to visible racks, but had no experience.

There are under-Bed lockers that slide out.

You might want to check to see if it is on the DOJ approved list. Not that I am a fan of the DOJ "rosters" but it more for future-proofing where you store your firearms. The reason I mention this is the crazy city I live in has an ordinance in the works requiring every firearm to be locked up in a DOJ approved storage container. This is not something I'm in favor of but we live in a nanny state and if legislation like that becomes popular, it could be coming your way before you know it.

You also might want to look at some of the more popular, well reviewed safes. The prices might be in the ball park of what the Stack-On costs or the locking bar.
