This is the second L1A1 I have had restored by Arizona Response Systems.
This was a receiver and some other mismatched parts from my LGS in Burbank.
It has been professionally restored to a 1975 era plastic stocks.
(Obviously this photo was taken in AZ the Kydex wrap is on when it's in LA.)
It is now obviously not a true C&R, but this is how the rifle would have looked had it been left alone prior to being imported - if that makes sense?
It is shown with a L1A3 bayonet and a new production CETO fat man fighting knife by Hamilton Daggers of Glasgow.
(John Hamilton was a Sergeant in the Royal Marine Commando and has made it his life's work to perfect the replication of the Fairbairn Sykes, his knives are sensational.)

This is the Aussie L1A1 with wood furniture.
This was also built by Arizona Response Systems.
It is an absolute delight to shoot, greasy 80's goodness.
