This is a late war German Mauser k98 that was used a bunch of subcontractors parts from other factories to build late in 1944. One of the obvious subcontractors parts is the receiver itself, which came from a factory called Gustloff Werke. All JP Sauer did to it was stamp their numbers on the parts, polish the receiver, and put it together. This K98 was one letter block away from the end of the k98 production for Sauer before they switched to manufacturing MP44 (STG44) rifles. It's a very nice rifle, accurate, and has not been messed with in anyway. Only bad part is that the bolt is a mismatch. Asking $895 shipped to your C&R or FFL.
