The Hamilton rifle model 1927. This old single shot 22 s and l rifle would have been perfect for an 8 or 9 year old back in the day. It looks great and works great too. 225 dollars and its yours

That looks to be a Hamilton Boys rifle. Very common in the Depresion era. The big feed companys put certificates in 1 of every 100 grain bags for a free gun! Only $2 shipping and handling. they were very common in farm country. Some called them the $2 22. DR
