The M1917 was in very good shape, never parkerized. Only non-Winchester parts I have found are the safety switch and the rear sight. I dated the reciever to about October of 1918 and the barrel is from September of 1918. Bore is a little dark but the rifle grooves are very sharp.
The 1903 is an early reciever and WW2 refurb. Serial number puts it made in 1917. The barrel is a High Standard made in September of 1944. Bore is mirror bright. Has the later double heat-treated bolt.
