Posting for a friend. Its a very nice looking Finnish M39 rifle with barrel marked 1942 VKT SA D. He got it from one of the dealers who would cherry pick nice examples and sell at a premium. It was originally imported by Century Arms International. The M39 rifles are the most refined of the Mosin Nagant type rifles. Much more rare, having been produced only in the tens of thousands versus the millions of Mosin Nagants and this one is in really beautiful shape. The stock is in very nice condition and is a wartime made version. He never shot it and there is still cosmoline in chamber and on the bolt.
