Vallejo Gun Show

Wife is out of town for the weekend and I have fist full of cash with no one to give me grief. For what seems like the first time this year, there are no shows around the Sacramento area and I was thinking a trip to the Vallejo show might be in order. Question is, is it worth it? I'd hate to drive down there only to be disappointed in the quality of C&Rs.

I went up to Vallejo last year - very disappointed.

IMHO - it's not worth the trip any more, unless you are really-really into beef jerk.

The show is a pretty small venue. There usually is a couple of vendors selling C&R's there. The prices are pretty much in line with the blue book on gun values. The reason why I go to these things is that from time to time, one can stumble upon an estate sale stuff. Then you can get really good deals.

The estate sale stuff is hit or miss however.

Eh, like mentioned is small. But I think the firearm to sqft ratio is better than at the cow palace.

The number of firearms at the Vallejo gun show is roughly the same as the Cow Palace. The venue at Vallejo is a lot smaller.

Check out Triple A's Sporting Goods on Springs Street in Vallejo! 10 minutes from the fairgrounds. Nice shop, good selection, good customer service.

RCGE in sac, Vacaville has AMMO supply point off leisure town (they took over center mass) and have a shop near the dealerships too. GUNS and fishing off butcher road in Vacaville (overpriced but just off freeway). Fairfield has cordelia gun exchange near scandia. Ammo depot near the mall. Vallejo has triple A's off springs road and 29 outdoors near Walmart in American canyon.

I would check business hours for a sunday
