COE Renewal Time

Just for general information, I mailed my COE renewal on January 16th and received the new COE on February 4th. (19 days) My check cleared the bank on the same day I received the COE.

I received mine a few days ago and the check still hasn't cleared. However, I have no fear the state has lost the check LOL.

I never been concerned about my check clearing, just as long as I get my COE.

I would assume renewals are faster.
I mailed my app for a new COE on 1/9 and have not received anything yet.

Does the state send a notice letter when renewal is due, or is it on you to comply with timing? COE renewal is $25 right? It is 1 year renewal for COE right? Then 2 years for the C&R renewal?

Yes, they send you a renewal form about a month and half out.

The renewal fees are $22.

1 year for COE and 3 for C&R.

Renewal turn around times seem to be quick. It is nice that they send a reminder of expiration but i would never count on it as a reminder. Just input into your calendar with a reminder 2 months before expiration.
