Question about self registration

I think I know the answer to this question but wanted to get a second opinion or two to make sure. So, I recently purchased a Russian SKS (a rare all stamped matching, non-refurb with no aresenal stamping on the receiver dust cover and a beautifully marbled red shellac stock for all you fellow SKS collectors/enthusiasts) from a retail 01FFL. I used my 03FFL and COE to cash & carry it BUT do I need to self register and/or enter it into my bound book? I had to complete the DROS at the shop so I don't think I do as I currently understand the requirements. What say you?

You must put EVERY eligible C&R firearm you acquire during the duration of your license in your bound book.

Thanks for the replies. That's kinda what I thought. However, I was under the impression that if I do not use my C&R to purchase a C&R gun (i.e., C&R pistols in CA) that those did not have to go in my bound book.

C&R FFLs are required to log every acquisition and disposition of a C&R firearm.

Every 03 FFL should read the Code of Federal Regulations that cover firearms. Knowing these regulations is part of the responsibility you take on when you become a 03 FFL.

Thanks again. I've read the regs., so the answer is yes...all C&R guns purchased (whether I used my license or not) must be entered in my bound book, correct? Just want to be clear and thorough.

You dont exactly 'use' your license.
You are licensed.
All c&r guns bought while licensed go in the bound book.
