    Good news for K31 owners!

If you've been looking for charging clips and have had a tough time (like me) or don't want to pay ridiculous prices for surplus cardboard, this may be for you:

If you have a Swiss K 31 rifle, especially if you bought it recently, you have probably noticed that it’s difficult to find charger clips for it.The original Swiss clips are wax coated cardboard and were intended to be disposable. They used to be easily available with some surplus ammo, but the supply has dried up almost entirely in recent years.I was very happy to discover that Northridge Inc is introducing new production polymer clips to the market. They should be ready for sale around March, and anticipated price is $13 each or two for $20.

Polymer K31 clips expected in March. $20 for 2 retail!

I'm really excited about this. Ian McCollum (Forgotten Weapons) put up that post and I hope he gets an early one to test it out in a video.

I actually bought some Kydex a month or two ago with the idea that I'd play around with making my own this coming spring. Then I saw some posts on the Swiss Rifle Message Boards about people trying to do the same thing. In fact here's a fellow over there on this thread who just sent some of his own out for testing.

It's exciting to see new products on the market in support of C&Rs. I'll certainly be trying these out when they are released.

Will they work only in K31 rifles?
"The only thing necessary for the triumph [of evil] is for good men to do nothing." Edmund Burke speech of 23 April 1770, "Thoughts on the Cause of the Present Discontents," delivered to the House of Commons.

You can buy the real deal cheaper... I guess it would be nice to have to not ruin the original paper ones.

That could be cool if they work well. I'm sure they will sell a lot of them.

I wonder if this is the same guy from 4chan's /k/. A guy there did a few prototypes with a 3d printer mid last year with the intention of trying to mass produce them.

Personally, I'll see if they'll go for any cheaper. I'm personally in no hurry to shoot up all of my gp11.

The K31 is the best kept milsurp secret out there. A joy to collect and shoot. I will be on the look out for a few of these, even though I like single loading the rounds because it makes my ammo last longer!

Good idea for sure, but......... Don't disparage the real Swiss chargers. They're an oil impregnated material and have been on active duty for around 100 years and are still as good as ever. We also deal in injection molded items and they're charging waaayyy too much for those chargers for what they are.
