Do you recognize this percussion rifle?

This came across my door and I've scoured the interwebs but can't identify it. I think it looks like some 50's erra squirrel guns from Thompson but not an exact match. Has c. h. worely in modern stamping on the bottom of the barrel.

    Any help would be great.

What caliber is it? The barrel looks heavy enough to be a 45 or 50.

Nice looking gun. Nice stock. I think it would look a lot more authentic if you stripped that varnish, filled the grain pores, and finished it with a low-sheen Danish or tung oil. That stuff looks to shiny and bumpy.

Looks like Hawken style rifle to me.

Thanks but I'm not sure. I have some .50 and .44 but they seem way too large. So probably .32 or .36.

Agreed, the stock should be re-done...

I would guess a one-off custom rifle by an amateur hobbyist.
Many features of the stock are unconventional: the cheek-pad, nose-cap, patch-box. The angle of the stock on the left side.
The lock-plate looks like some markings have been stamped out (obliterated).
