1911 UMC with Colt slide value?

The pictured M1911 has a Remington UMC frame and a Colt slide and barrel. The barrel is marked COLT 45 AUTO and a "P" on the lug and a "G" on the bottom. The serial number is "NO18xxx". It appears to be an arsenal rebuild but does not have an arsenal mark. On the left frame there is an eagle head on the trigger guard bow and one just above the mag release with both having E28. The REM UMC inspector stamp is EEC. It has UNITED STATES PROPERTY. On the frame's right side it has the serial number and a 1 on the trigger guard bow. It has an E down near the loop by the mag well. The grips are Bakelite and it has been parkerized. Considering the UMC frame but no arsenal mark what's this one worth?

Parkerized mixmaster M1911's are somewhere around $1000-1200 outside of California, and I assume they are more expensive in California (like many other things). I don't think the fact that the frame is Remington-UMC adds value, it's still a refinished mixmaster. Nothing wrong with it, pistols like that were used in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and into the 1980's.
      Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

Thanks. Would you say from the pictures I have all 1911 parts except for the barrel and have you seen arsenal rebuilds without arsenal marks?

Anyone who can find a nice rebuilt all-USGI M1911 or M1911A1 for $800 should buy it.

The price for a USGI 1911's ( even a mixmaster ) have gone into orbit.
I think the 1000 -- 1200 range is pretty accurate ( At least here in CA.)

By the way, when considering a M1911 or M1911A1 the two things you should look for first are:

                1) legit serial number present
                2) intact UNITED STATES PROPERTY marking

Many M1911's and M1911A1's for sale are missing one or both. Those should be the first things you look for. If either is absent don't go any further, put it down.

                Examples of what to avoid:

                Removed UNITED STATES PROPERTY

                Removed UNITED STATES PROPERTY

                Fake serial number

Removed UNITED STATES PROPERTY and fake serial number
