    C&r licence question!

hey fellow collectors, i have a question for you about the application.

on page 1 it says to list countries of citizenship.

I was born in Sacramento california right here un the good old USA
But my dad is a lebanese citizen. therefore i have lebanese citizenship given from birth, yeah its weird i know. i don't even know how.

should i list this? is anyone else a duel citizen? will it be held against me?
i don't want to denounce my lebanese citizenship.

    help? anyone?

Any child born here is a US citizen. Don't mention the dual situation.

I'm a redblooded god loving american who believes in mom dad baseball and apple pie! who wants his C&R license. plus i thought it would be cool since this year my employer "Local gun shop" is paying for us to get our C.O.E. so naturally i thought i would take full advantage and take the plunge into getting my C&R license

        Since section 9 specifically says
Country of Citizenship List more than one, if applicable.
(emphasis added), I would be listing it. You don't want to get caught lying on a federal form. I don't think it would be too hard for them to figure out your dual status.

        15. Certification: Under the penalties imposed by 18 U.S.C. 924, I declare that I have examined this application and the documents submitted in support thereof, and to the best of my knowledge and belief, they are true, correct and complete. This signature, when presented by a duly authorized representative of the Department of Justice, will constitute consent and authority for the appropriate Department of Justice representative to examine and obtain copies and abstracts of records and to receive statements and information regarding the background of all responsible persons. Put it down. I don't think being a dual citizen is grounds for denial.

Question, are you a US citizen. Answer, yes. Not a lie. As long as you have a US birth certificate.

It's not a yes/no question. It specifically says to list your country(s) of citizenship. No, he's not lying by saying he's a US citizen. But, he would be lying on a federal form if he knowingly omitted the fact that he has dual citizenship.

Look at section 9 on the form.

Having dual citizenship shouldn't hurt you at all. You're a US citizen, that's all you need.

You're qualified with that alone, but don't omit anything. As others have said.
So I was driving home from the range and I noticed that the scent of warm steel, burnt gunpowder and lukewarm coffee combined and smelled oddly of... Peanut butter?! Man, the Hoppe's is going to my head.

Look at section 9 on the form.
I stand corrected. I didn't remember they asked it that way.

You should have no problem. Just be honest.
