The funny thing is this guy loves Swiss rifles enough to buy them, shoot them, handload for them, service and repair them, all of them from the Vetterli to the K31, but not enough to resist molesting them.

He's like a good mechanic that occasionally cops a feel. Meh, you just put up with it.

Just like putting an old muscle car on a pro-touring chassis. I would do that all day long, but I don't share the same mindset when it comes to rifles.

Props for the R&D however.

I won't knock it because once the stock breaks on a K31 it's nearly impossible to find a replacement. So at that point you only have the option of sending it off to your good friend bubba.
