Would you purchase a NIB Springfield reproduction or a period gun via GB or CMP?

PS - I already own a period piece, I "think" I want something pretty, ie new wood etc.

I don't think the Service Grade Specials are available anymore. I got an HRA Service Grade Special last year. You can still get a CMP Special, which has a new barrel, new stock, and refinished parts. My CMP Special is a great shooter.

I received that email too. I believe it said all orders received by 1/12/15 will be at the current price. Time to mail in your paperwork before the price goes up.
