                Yugoslavian M48 Mauser bayonet, made in in Kragujevac, Yugoslavia by the "Preduczeze (Arsenal) 44" facility.

                          As stated above it is a Yugo Mauser bayonet. They are nicely crafted and often found in unused brand new condition. Unlike German wartime Mauser bayonets, these don't have much collector interest. I'd echo the estimate of about $30. A lot of M48 rifles are bundled with these when you buy from commercial FFL houses.

                            Classic example of something not valued at what it's worth. I used one of these as my camping knife and it lasted longer than I did. They are a really rugged piece of steel.
                            I'd buy it if I didn't have to ship it across country

                              Correct. Yugo bayonets are like Yugo firearms, far better in quality than what you pay for them. M48, M24-47, 98/48, OPAP, M59, M59-66, all in my safe and all first rate weapons.
