The new Hornady ammo doesn't. The milsurp pre-WWII may, I haven't bought any of that.

Straight-pull bolts are fun. Check out the K31 rifles for a great example. Also check out the Ross rifles.

City Arms has one of those M95s sitting around.

I just got mine back from ades gunsmith for headspace check and an overall bill of health. he said several times to take the bolt down.. not all that hard but these instructions hellped a lot..I used carb cleaner then clp and then a dab of grease in the mateing surfaces.. I am still cleaning the boar. I do not have a 8 mm hag but my 9mm jag fits real snug...eeek is my barrel shot out? there appeares to be pleanty of lands and groovs and dirt... it is getting shinney

I'd be worried if the 9mm jag DIDN'T fit real snug.

How's an 8mm bullet fit at the muzzle end?

The M95/34 is not 8mm it's bigger. You can all so re size 7.2x54r brass for it. Bullets are hard to find for it. You can re size bullets to fit it. If you do search at surplus rifle . com you can find loading info for it.

Yeah, but it's only slightly bigger than 8x57 (which is properly 7.92x57.)

Mauser's 8 dials in at .323.. or is it .318? - this is .329. Not a whole lot of difference.

it was prety darn snug.. like if you use 2 patches on a correct sized jag. my heavy patches would not go through, just the strechy ones would

Yes, that stuff is also for your M95, but I don't think the ammo is on clips like the Nazi marked stuff is.

holly crap that thing kicks like a mule! serously, I plink with a .300 win-mag and that thing kicked my ars. first squeeze busted my lip right open. I was bleading like a stuck pig and I will be dambed if the 2nd round didn't do the same thing. well you just got to get back up on that horse and I think I figured it out, hold the stock high in your sholder. that seemed to work because ofer the next 100 rounds I only busted my lip 5-6 more times
