What can I expect at the SAR show

I am getting ready to go to Phoenix for the SAR show this weekend. I am looking to purchase some C&R guns. I have not been to a gunshow for a few years. The research I have been doing points to it being a soft market. What do you guys feel the show will be like? I am not looking for bargains, just fair reasonable prices.

Just make sure you let your seller know that you are an FFL03 from California at the right time. Don't lead with it, tell them after you have struck a deal and have cash out. Most will have no problem with it, others will refuse to sell to a California resident. I have had more than one good Arizona deal set up where everything was great until they read the address on my FFL03. If I lived in Arizona, I wouldn't be that way but there is a lot of that in Arizona (I used to have my office in Scottsdale, but lived here).

Even though it is tempting, don't buy any guns that are not C&R, regular capacity mags or anything else illegal here, there have been ATF stings from what I have heard over the years.

Looking forward to a report of the show and some photos of whatever sweet C&Rs you score while there.
