Iver Johnson / Universal M-1 Carbines

Could these carbines wear USGI Stocks?

Some of the Universals can and some can't. Universal built quite a few using their own design and are not compatible with USGI parts.

IDK about Iver Johnson. With the early Universals and some of the LE models they'll fit. With some of the later early Universals the stock would have to be fit for it and the stock will no longer fit GI carbines. I don't know if a GI stock can be made to fit the 2 spring Universal or not.

I don't know but I sure do like my Iver Johnson M1 carbine. IDK about Universals, but my IJ runs great. So light and small it feels like a toy.

^ Your IJ is same as the original M1s.
If you ever need spare parts order genuine type.
It already has a mil firing pin in it.
It would fit into a GI stock.
(I sold BR that IJ and I wish I had kept it....)

I appreciate the info Sir. It has had a few hundred rounds of trouble free fun through it and is one of my favorites.
