K31 Muzzle Cap

I lost mine at the range..

I don't know about you guys, but my theory is anything that isn't bolted or tied down to a gun is going to get lost.

I guess I failed at pretending to be a Swiss militiaman.

On a related note, my handloads worked beautifully in my K31. 147g M80's with surplus WC-844 powder. Soft and accurate. Like a lazer beam shooting off hand at paint cans.

I also shot about twenty five cast lead/blackpowder handloads out of my trapdoor and now I cant move my right arm. Ive been consuming large quantities of ham and alcohol, but its only helping a little.

Where can I get a new muzzle cover?

I've never lost one at the range. I vaporized one at the range though. I left it on the muzzle and since I was using a scope and not the iron sights I didn't remember that it was there 'till I fired. I felt a sting on my supporting hand and then remembered the cap. I found the clip but nothing more. It was a nice brass cap too!

Ask Guisen, he probably has a box car load of them!

I have no idea where it went. Its possible its in the safe, like maybe I forsaw it would get lost so I kept it at home, but I think I would have found it by now.

I've lost a few over the years. They are about the same size and color as 45acp brass and, as you know, they are invisible to adult males.

My wife was trying to help me find it, I told her to imagine a little hat for your finger made out of brass.

She kept bringing my spent cases, so I gave up.

Ill order another one. Lets presume that cap came with the gun and has been on it since 1943. I took me one afternoon to lose it...
