Spy Game

Being a counterintel type, I will watch the movie Spy Game when ever it is on. During its last viewing, I noticed something interesting. The sniper rifle Brad Pitt uses is not a Winchester Model 70 or 700. If you pay attention to him working the action you will catch a good view of the bolt. They used an Lee-Enfield. There is no other view of the rifle except for the rear of the bolt, but its an Enfield. I even broke out my No1 Mark III to make sure I did not geek out for no reason.

Nothing ground breaking but cool none the less.

I thought it was a Parker-Hale T4 (7.62x51mm), an Enfield sniper rifle variant that was made/adopted before the UK MOD adopted the RSAF L-42A1 (7.62x51mm).

Brad Pitt plays Brad Pitt in every movie, it's just not entertaining. I'm not a middle-aged woman so I can't look past that.

For the longest time I could not shake the character Brad Pitt played in the first movie I ever saw him in.
A stoned out slacker in the movie "True Romance" (1993).
After that, see him in all these dramas and all I can see is stoned out slacker.

Almost every actor today plays himself or herself. It is type-casting. Very few are able to actually ACT. I can only think of a few at the moment: Dustin Hoffman, Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges, and (I can't believe I'm saying this) Leonadro DiCaprio.

I WANT to like Al Pacino and Robert Di Nero and even Jack Nicholson, but too much of their strong personality comes out in every character they play. I still like their movies though.

Brad Pitt is at least like white fish. It always tastes the same but it goes with whatever seasoning you want to put on it.

Besides he's PRO SECOND AMMENDMENT, so he earns an A+ in my book.
