Need help on Identification and Value.

I was at a friends house. We were going over a couple rifles that his Grandpa gave him a couple years or so.

In particular these two Mausers. One Argentinian and Chilean...we think.

He wants to try and find all the info he can.

They are in great shape. They are all matching SN's.

The more info the merrier. He wants to make a 3x5 card with all the info.

BTW. He is not looking to sell them.

He just wants to be able to identify and ultimately shoot them.

He found some info. It seems all these Markings have different meanings. Some import, some manufacturer, etc.

Just searching here as well.

The first one is a M1935 Chilean Mauser short rifle. Should be in 7mm Mauser.

The next one is a M1909 Argentine Mauser carbine made by their own factory (originals were by DWM in Germany) around WWII. Most likely still in 7.65mm Argentine (Belgian).

We weren't sure with all the markings.

I wouldn't say that.

That model of Chilean Mauser is not as easy to find as the others.

And FMAP 1909's are cool and are usually in really good shape.

Yeah, both pretty nice examples and look to be fairly well-kept. I'd be proud to own them.
