Yeah buddy, what you have is extraordinary luck, good taste, enough money, or a combination of some or all of those. Top is an Izhevsk Russian, and the bottom is unmistakably an Albanian SKS, both very good finds in the SKS world. My Tula is prettier though

I have been looking at Albanian SKSs for years, had a '74 and sold it, but that is the nicest Albanian I have ever seen.
None of the Albanians are old enough to be classified as C&R.

The Albanian SKS is most definitely a C&R firearm. it is listed on the first page of the ATF curio and relic booklet. Since the 50 year old rule in California ended, the Alby is entirely eligible, as are the Yugos, which were made around the same time as the Alby's.

I am quite sure Eagle Eye knows exactly what he has because those are both premium quality Simonov's, a far cry from the pedestrian mixmaster beaters that are floating around.

Minty Albanians with matching numbers are fairly rare, as there aren't a lot of them to begin with, and many are mixmasters or in rough shape. But they do exist.... here is mine:
