who does good work transforming the stock bolt handle to a clean looking bent one. or who sells the bolt pre made?

Also, you have to cut off and reweld a new handle on to a stock bolt

Bent mosin bolts? You can hardly swing a dead cat without hitting someplace that has them. You can get a bare bolt and just put your bolt parts in it, done deal. http://www.e-sarcoinc.com/9130mosins...tstripped.aspx
just one example. Probably find them cheaper on ebay but I know there's other places I'm not thinking of right now.

Hahaha, it is the destiny of every C&R collector. "$150 bucks for a Mosin? $300 for an SKS?? Back in my day they were only $50 each. Hell, they might have been free! We walked uphill both ways to school in the snow, barefooted! Men were men! The local sporting goods store had barrels of Garands for $10 each!"

you have to be crazy to pay 550 for a PU sniper.
you can build your own for
rifle 150
accu mount complet
PU scope kit around 375-400

bent bolt 75
gun smith to install it properly 150

that is 750 and if you try to save 150 on the gun smith just add a extra 150 for another mosin to try to do it right the second time.
