    Offering Mosin Two-Stage Triggers

    Hi Folks,

I'm making five, two-stage Mosin trigger/sear assemblies for sale this week. They will ship on Monday.

Three have been claimed by folks on the boards I primarily advertise on.

    Two are left.

I am offering one of those for grabs here. The other will be offered on another board.

If you are interested, please go here: http://www.smith-sights.com/two-stage-triggers.php

Please contact me from that page, or from here. If you contact me from the trigger page, please mention you're from Calguns.

    Regards,

    Josh

      $75. That's on the website.

This includes the two-stage trigger, sear, and return (slack) spring. Compare that to Huber's single stage, which costs a bunch more, and Timney's unit, which requires inletting of the stock.

      Regards,

      Josh

Man I need coffee. I thought the background on the smith sights website was a dirt streak across my screen. Then I realized it was shaped like a rifle.

I've shot many Russian Mosins. I only own one Mosin, a Finn M1939. So, compared to the long, mushy trigger pulls in the Russians, the Finn really is a nice, 2-stage precise pull that breaks at about 4.5 pounds. The Finn trigger compares nicely to my 3 Mausers (one of which is a Swede) and my M1 Garand, all of which have great triggers - clean 2-stage with precise 4 to 5 pound break.

So if you got lucky and seem to have a Russian Mosin capable of good accuracy, a Finn-like trigger would be a good investment.

I have no interest in Mr. Smith's company. I'm just a small-time military rifle collector who likes service rifles that shoot accurately (2 inches or better off a sandbag at 100 yards with iron sights) and I'm a volunteer NRA rifle instructor.

          Regards,

            Hi Folk,

I'm ending orders at the end of the day. I only have one more, as well.

            Regards,

            Josh
