C&R Surprise

I just had 3 C&R pistols shipped into my FFL last week, went there yesterday to dros and was told that I cannot dros for two more weeks when I am eligible to dros a pistol again, and then I can only dros one of the three, one every month. I didn't think the C&R pistols had to follow the same rules as a regular pistol purchase. I am in the process of getting my COE, but thought that just kept me from having to wait the 10 days on pickup. Let me know if this is correct.

The two Tokerevs I picked up from J&G sales looked great, really A nice deal for anyone looking. Can't wait to get them and shoot them.

Think you need to have both your 03 and COE and you can pick them up with no wait.

nope, you have to have both the C&R FFL + COE to be exempt from the 10-day wait and 1-in-30 for C&R handgun purchases.

What ke6guj said is correct... but look at it this way, if your COE gets here in the next 5 to 6 weeks, and you have your 03, you can DROS the last 2 pistols together under the 1 in 30 exemption and take them home the same day.

I was hoping you guys had some better information for me, maybe my FFL was mistaken. It sounds like he is following the letter of the law. I do have my 03, so tomorrow I will send in my Coe, and hope it gets processed quickly.
