Yeah wondering if my 91/30 is still under warranty. When it starts getting hot and sweating a little cosmo, the barrel band comes loose and the handguard slides around. Send it back so Boris can make fix better.

I bought my first 91/30 from Big 5 a couple of years ago for $89.00, it was a decent '43 Izhevsk. I sold it to a friend because I had too many other Mosins laying around. That said, buying a C&R from Big 5 is sort of weird since they know almost nothing about them. I recommend studying this site to get up to speed on the Mosin, pretty much everything you would ever need to know about them.

I hope they can cut the side to make room for a mount and scope it

Or put on a crooked scout tacticool rail

March 29- April 5, 2019- The Million Mag March. Thank you, Judge Benitez and all the vendors

That rail was straight, it was the rifle that was crooked.

I've got an 1896 that has a cracked handguard, do you think the tsar will still honor the warranty?

Big 5 was awesome when I first fell into milsurps and the next year or so.. and ultimately led to my discovery of this forum (it just took me 5 years of on/off lurking until I actually registered ).... And full circle, thanks to Calguns is why I havent been inside of a Big 5 in years.

            lol

I think the warranty has long since expired.

Wouldn't it be funny if Remington recalled all those M91's they made for the Czar? "We need to fix the trigger. . ."

For this recall, a 2x4 will be added to assist in bolt operation.
