In case you missed them a few months ago, these look almost like new pistols, beautiful condition. If you have been contemplating a P64, these are the batch you want, they are drool worthy. $259.00

Looks like it says only in those three States.

What's the deal with these here? Say I wanted to get one, do I have to sse? On roster? Or does c&r have some separate clause?

C&R are exempt from the roster.
So they can be shipped to a CA FFL01 and processed as pretty much normal. You might want to check with your FFL if they have done it before or are comfortable doing it. Some shops think that you are trying to pull a fast one, while others have no issue with it or call the DOJ for a quick tip on how to enter it into the system.

Some will argue that the P-64 is not in the C&R book, which it isn't.. its in a supplement.

Polish, Model P64 pistols, 9 x 18mm Makarov caliber, all serial numbers

Can't wait to see my recently ordered Classic Arms example... $219 for a Good to Very Good was a great price but now I am wondering if it needs a Excellent + brother...

Okay so school me a bit on this. If I want to get the P64, how do I go about it? Do I have to find an FFL with C&R license or can those FFL doing SSE be eligible? And if I find one, does the pistol need to be SSE or can I just dros it like normal?

                    See my above post.

No you don't find a FFL with a C&R license.
An FFL03 is a personal FFL for only C&R firearms. It is not to be used for business purposes. Many of us in this forum have our FFL03's but we can not buy for anyone except ourselves. Unfortunately CA jacks with our Federal License and limits what actions we can use it for.

So you need to find an FFL01 that is willing to do a Roster exempt C&R transfer. No SSE needed.

I hate you OP I still got Polish Tokarev in jail from Aim batch, from few weeks

Speaking of which, how does 1 in 30 work in this case? Just buy it, have it sent to FFL, have it sit there and start DROS when 30 days is up from last one?

Several years ago when J&G had the P64 for $150 I bought two of them. They're really tight with a heavy trigger pull and sharp recoil. After several painful range trips I gave one to my brother and sold the other one.

                        Though those look really nice...

Sooo much confusion on how to buy a C&R gun. C&Rs are exempt from the roster and ANY FFL01 can do the transfer. Elwood, if you have your FFL03 + COE, you are exempt from 1 in 30 but that depends on if your dealer hasn't been brow beat by Kamala's goons to not honor that part of the penal code.

Yes, these need the Wolff Spring Set to be palatable and I will confess that I usually shoot mine with a glove on as it has bitten me a bit before. But they are super cool little guns, well crafted, nice looking and reasonably accurate. The recoil is a little snappy but what do you expect with a tiny, light pistol shooting 9x18 Makarov? To me, its acceptable. And yes, the ones in this AIM batch are sexy. I ended up with their ugly sister earlier this year I bought from SOG. She still has a great personality but isn't the same in the looks department (not too bad but my billboard is really hideous in comparison).

Yeah, I still haven't gotten around to getting my COE. My FFL told me during my previous visit that they couldn't exempt me from 1 in 30, even if I had COE, so there is that. I guess I'll have to wait. Thanks for imput though.

Yeah, that is Kamalas goons making up things that are not laws. It's in the PC but the CADOJ just decided to threaten FFL01s if they obey the law. The CADOJ are way overstepping their boundaries on this. You can always do what I do, have it shipped to a Las Vegas FFL01 and then go pick it up. PITA but sometimes necessary when you want to buy half a dozen handguns at once.
