German rifle

I'm looking for any type of German WWII rifle, I only want one so I want it to be a really good one, are Nazi bolt guns hard to get a hold of? Soviet guns, I've got down. I know enough to hold a conversation but German, nothing. Not a thing about them so any help would be appreciated

I have a Russian capture that nothing was scrubbed off of they're out there.

when big 5 sold k98s, I remember seeing a bunch of them with eagles and swasticas still intact. so they are out there. most places will mention it, also check out gunbroker

go to gunbroker and surf the ended auctions for "russian capture k98" and you'll get an idea pretty quick what they go for. then go 20% higher and you'll get the CA price.

i bought mine about ...wow...6 years ago now (omg) and got it for about 300... i think they're still available for under 400? Dont quote me though.

Check Wideners. They are out of stock right now but usually carry K98s with intact markings for around $500.

Since you don't know much about the K98s, be aware that there are many fakes lurking about. Don't overpay because someone has a sniper or some special SS rifle on the market - if so, it's best to consider it a fake until proven otherwise. Ask a lot of questions here as there are many knowledgeable guys that will guide you though the things to look for and avoid.
