Duration from Check Cashing to Receiving C&R?

I literally mailed my C&R application to the BATF around a week ago. Today I just checked my banking account and noticed it was a bit lower than I remembered, and loe and behold my check for the C&R was cashed. How long did it take you guys to receive your license after they cashed/took your money?

The BATF charged my credit card two weeks ago...now I'm waiting patiently.
I've heard anywhere from a month to six...

What, you thought they would hold your check until services are rendered?
More like, they will render services well after your check clears and they can get around to it.

Way back when, it took them 90 days to get mine to me after they charged my card. No clue how fast/slow they are today though. My renewal is coming up soon though.

Well I have a few friends that buy NFA goodies, and their main method of checking status on their tax stamps is to see when their payments clear. After that they say it takes usually a week or so, C&R must be a different animal then.

Well my check was cashed on 12 august, and I recieved my license yesterday (mailed it out to all the dealers I plan on ordering from today)

22 day from mailing application to receiving license, last April.

Back when I first got into C&Rs it took forever for them to process it. I was told just to mail it off and forget about it. I can't recall how long it took, but it was more than a couple of months before I got mine.

Mine arrived almost exactly 60 days from the date they cashed the check. That was in April of this year. COE only took 10 days. YMMV

Well, the brick of info arrived today, but no license as of yet...

I'm hoping the license isn't far behind!

mine took 3 months, COE was only a few days.

I've heard people that got theirs after only a few weeks.

It all depends on your luck I suppose.

Amazingly I got my C&R last Monday on 9/22. So total of 15ish days? I must have been a lucky one.

i mailed mine 8/22 and got my license 9-24 and the 2 phone books worth of info 9-30 today. now i have to get my COE as soon as i figure out the paperwork.
