SKS Stripper Clip Question

The bxn coded ammo was imported into Canada not long ago. It came in the same crates as the 54R Czech used to come in. Since it was steel core, a no no for here. The non mil spec charger clips from China are hit and miss. Some are poorly made, and don't feed near as nice as the Chinese mil spec ones. the Chinese mil spec ones were parkerized, and the new ones are blued.

How well do they work?

I grabbed a few at random to try and they fed very smoothly. Hopefully that means the rest will too.

I figure I'll need about 1000 rounds to fill them up. Next month.

That's what I hear. In all seriousness though, I got a bunch from Sportsman's guide years ago and they're probably cheap commercial Chinese ones. Some are smooth-feeding and others totally suck. For the money I might just get some of the Czech ones since I also use them in the vz-58.

I looked around a bit and saw a lot of the "guaranteed military issue" Chinese clips were going for about $1/clip. So I went ahead and ordered the Czech clips.

Only 1 set left now.
