    Mosin Nagant M44 help

    Hi everyone i recently purchase an M44 original stock on ebay to replace the stock my m44 came with which has arsenal repairs, i would like to know if anyone can tell me what these markings on the ebay stock are ?

      Those markings are all common and unknown. Just part of it. Nice rifle though.

          Those are all unknown inspector stamps.

          I'm not sure why you're bothering to replace the original stock over one tiny repair?

            The triangle/arrow on the bands and butt plate are Izhevsk.

              M44 stocks are hard to find sometimes. I don't know what those proofs mean but the big '2' is pretty common in that location. You could sell the old stock easy because it isn't in bad shape and those repairs are minor.
