OMG i got an IHC garand!!!! Updated with pics posts 14 and 15

Sorry if i look like a teenage girl but today i got an email that my IHC garand with an LMR barrel shipped from cMP. Now the exciting part is i got an email in june saying sorry kid. You get no IHC garand this time. Now i have no confirmation of this but i shot at the western games, talked to the folks and, oh yeah my family is from bama roll tide. So if that worked out hell yeah. And pics will be coming. I am just excited to complete my garand collection.
Update- pics are in 14&15. Took her apart and found that everything seems to be correct except for the trigger group. Rear sight, op rod, stock seem to be IHC. Experts help me out here. If i can come up with an IHC trigger group i have a pretty correct rifle.
    Not bad i think.

sweet. there's just something cool about a tractor gun. My Jukebox gun(Rockola M1 carbine) is almost as cool, but I need to get a computer gun as well (IBM carbine)

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

I like guns made by manufacturers that make other stuff. I have a Daewoo pistol.

I agree...I specifically wanted a National Postal Meter M-1 Carbine for that reason.

You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.
            Come on...what harm??

This is the way I feel about all of my guns, lol. I am glad you got the one you wanted, looking forward to seeing pics. Oh ya, when you get the rifle, you might want to include a video of your happy dance, lol.

A friend of mine recently received his from the first shipment and shot it this last weekend. 5 rounds into a golfball sized hole at 100 yards. Saw it with my own eyeballs. Its a beautiful rifle, stock and finish are excellent, throat and muzzle were low wear. If yours is half as nice as his, you have good reason to be giddy!

Don keep your fingers crossed that your IHC comes with an original stock. Mine has a Boyds' and to replace mine is going to be pricey. Get a s/n on it yet? Mines a 4.5 made rifle so s/b a '53. So far the best shooter in the safe. Learn the GI way of loading of your rifle and it'll make shooting lots more fun
