AIM Surplus has Prvi Partisan M2 ball.

I just got an email from AIM Surplus that they have the Prvi Partisan M2 ball back in stock.

Man, their shipping is high. $50.91 to ship to the Central Valley area. I know SG Ammo is out of it right now, but even with their higher initial price they ship the can for $18.00.

In the end it saves me $13.00 to order from SG. Of course, AIM has it, and SG is currently out.

Yeah, the shipping was expensive but they are the first place I have seen it in a while. I haven't had time to reload and I haven't been shooting in years so this was the fastest way to get my Garand out of the safe.

Anyone have a range report on this ammo?

Just wondering how it compares to CMP surplus ammo.
...a fool and his money were lucky to get together in the first place...

I've read that it's good ammo but don't know how it compares to the HXP. Reloadable, non corrosive and non magnetic are good enough for me.

PP is always good ammo. The cases are tough and last many full length resizings.

I fired it last time I took my Garand out. It feels slightly softer shooting to my shoulder than the HXP. POI was indistinguishable from the HXP at 200 yards, the only distance I shot the Garand that day.

What's nice about this ammo is that it's new manufacture, so I know it will still be good 50 years from now.

Now that I've tested this stuff against the HXP, and know that it shoots as well I'll be hanging on to the PPU, and shooting the HXP.

SGammo had like 20 cans of these last week. They'll get more eventually if you are willing to wait.

As much as I love AIM, their shipping price for ammo is simply too high. I get my ammo from other sources.

CMP still has some spam cans of LC Ball ammo, 550 rounds I think for 350?

I bought the PRVI because it is new, but if you want some ammo to shoot now the CMP spam cans will work. Price with delivery is 72-73 cents per round

The aim and SG once shipping is paid to texas come out to almost the same price. Aim was cheaper per can but was higher on shipping. 75-76 cents per round. I have bought from both places and they are very reputable firms.
