    need some guidance

Okay got my SKS and Mosin Nagant yesterday from classicfirearms. I am trying to fill out my form for DOJ. What do I put as "make" & "model"? I know it seems like a stupid question, but this is new to me. I'm used to "Springfield" as a make and "XD" as a model. What about the SKS and Mosin? And how do I find manufacturing country? I really didn't get any papers at all for these, not even a invoice.

Look at the importer stamp, should have the info you need.
On surplus import guns, the import company is the manufacturer, use whatever model name/number they use.

    example
    make: century arms inc
model: 91/30 or sks or M-200
country: whatever country it came from (even if it was made in a different country)

For "make" you should put the country of manufacture. Did Classic not list that info? For the SKS it is probably "China" and for the Mosin-Nagant it is probably 'Russia". For "model" you should put "fixed magazine SKS" for the SKS. For the Mosin-Nagant you should put M91/30 or M44 or...depending on the model you received. If you aren't sure what model of Mosin-Nagant you received just post a photo here on the forum and we can let you know what you have.

And based on past events, attach a photo of the SKS, save you the hassle of them calling you asking for one in a few weeks.

Here I a pic of SKS stamping, sorry if not clear, but looks like triangle with 26 inside. Pretty much the only stamp I see. There is a dotted style engraving on the barrel, is that the import stamp?

                Put "Chinese fixed magazine sks"

Attach a pic and a note that says "it's fixed, don't call me"

And for rifles, I'm about to send paperwork to DOJ, is it $19 per rifle or both. Can't get a straight answer.

Thanks didn't want to sent DOJ more of my money if I don't need to.
