New Brad Pitt Movie full of C&R!

I read about this months ago but I guess its coming out a little earlier than I expected, looks like at the end of the year.

Seems like an armored unit in Normandy, looks damn cool. In the trailer I see MG42's, MP40's, Garands, M1 carbines, K98's, Shermans, and a Tiger? Oh, and P51's.

I always wanted to see a movie from the point of view of a tank crew, especially those that went up against that German heavy armor!

I love good war films. How does this one look?

The Tiger in the movie will be the first real Tiger I to be used in film. It is Tiger 131 from a museum in the UK.

Saw a preview for this earlier, I lol'd when the sherman bounced a shot from the tiger at point blank range.

And I'll definitely be seeing this movie. One of the best scenes from Band of Brothers was the German Counter Attack at Carentan that got stopped by the Shermans of the 2nd Armored.

Brad Pitt may be an Obama supporter but he is also pro gun FWIW. I think he supports Obama because it is expected and he probably is a typical deluded actor living in a bubble. I produced the A&E Biography on Brad back in the day and spent time with him, he is definitely pro gun and probably doesn't see the ridiculousness of supporting a president who is so anti gun.

I wonder if Pitfighter knows who supplied all of the weaponry? This was a big job for some Hollywood armorer.

So much actual heroism in that war yet Hollywood needs to invent. I'd like to see movies about John Basilone, or Tony Stein. Or Torpedo 8 at Midway.

Probably wait for this one on DVD.
