mosin PU sniper value

I know some importers are still listing PUs for under 600 dollars but in shot gun news Royal tiger is asking 850 for a hand select TULA PU now. interesting. I would expect a dark bore, counter bored less than desirable metal to be in the 500 range. my friend got lucky he got a return PU for 499 and all it needed was the front scope lens to be removed and cleaned. 1/2 hr job. and he has a very nice PU sniper.
