    Antique Danzig rifles

    Going to check out an antique "Civil War" era rifle or musket this afternoon. I know jack about them and was only told it was a Danzig. I don't believe it's the Gew 98. Can someone inform me about these or point me in the direction of some resources? Price quoted to me was a couple hundred bucks which is why I'm entertaining the idea.

      Danzig marked could be a Gew88 as well as a Gew98. Get some pics!

          It couild also be a Model 1871/84 Mauser in 11mm.
