    Six Digit China Doll

Playing with iPhone camera. Thought I would send a few pics of my latest SKS. Nothing special but the wood is in decent shape, all matching six-digit factory 26. I shot it last week and, like all SKSs, she performed flawlessly. I did work on the wood a little bit with 0000 steel wool and tung oil. I tried not to change the character, just clean it up.

Just realized I need to delete some old pics before I can upload the new ones. Also sorry one is posted upside down. LEARNING

Is this a Classic gun from the most recent run? Nice SKS, thanks for sharing.

this is not the latest batch. more than a year ago. What other place did these early chinese SKSs end up besides Albania ?. i kind of like faded bluing as long as their is no pitting or rust.
In the past i was using a camera that rook bad indoor pics. i am pleased with this one.

Pictures from Notabiker. You are becoming technically savvy whether you like it or not!

        Oh, and nice SKS.

I like it, and it even looks better when you see it in person. Its made a few trips out to our C&R shoots.

my goal was a well used look, not beat to hell.Splinters and dry flaking wood are not cool on a shooter of so so value.
