stock looks like it might be off a handi rifle of sorts - are there any other markings on the barrel? have you removed it from the stock? also are there any indications of wear on the bottom of the barrel that would imply that there was tubular magazine below it at one time...

Most likely a Model 1894 barrel, and it looks like it has been fitted to a single shot like a Martini. With the exact dimensions of the threaded stub, I could probably tell you what it was made to fit.
What happened to the rest of it?

I will get you the dimensions and I do have a Martini single shot lever in .310 Cadet. Thanks. I will post a pic of the martini also. May be tomorrow.

Open the .310 Cadet, and look at the breech face and extractor. The Marlin barrel looks to be cut for a Cadet extractor.

Its been fitted to a Martini Cadet rifle action, which may or may not headspace correctly depending on action thread timing.

                How much?

The .310 I have is actually a Birmingham from Australia. She works well.

I believe you are correct. Looks like it would fit.

Ummm, nope, I wouldn't mess with that Cadet.
When they were sold to the public, the ammo and production of it disappeared. Re-chambering/ re-barreling to .32/20 was the logical choice. .32/20 brass can be worked into .310 Cadet.

                        Thanks.
I am good on ammo. Probably have a couple hundred handloads and brass.
No intention of messing with the Cadet.
