There is a relatively small group of MP44 collectors, and quite a few of us know each other - usually by bidding against each other on GB - or BS'ing on collecting forums.

I am trying to alert everyone I can.

But, I am sure the scam is not limited to MP44's -

I recently answered an add on Armslist for a Sig X5. There was the usual back-and-forth in trying to set-up a time to meet. The seller mentioned using a delivery service, I politely refused, he then suddenly stopped all communication. The seller had a thick Asian accent.
