This ammo was going for insane prices during the panic, not a bad investment for the next panic if you have the room. I hate shooting corrosive out of SKS and AKs though, cleaning the gas system is a PITA.

Thought this stuff was dried up years ago, nice that they found another stash.

Copper jacketed, great stuff. Don't let corrosive ammo scare you. the SKS and AK are very easy to clean.

I am debating, I do the math for reloading 7.62x39 and this stuff is a good deal. I get .11 for powder, .02 for a primer and .15 to .19 for a bullet. This is in the same neighborhood and we all know it's good ammo.

It is good ammo, but reloading will still be cheaper and better and non-corrosive.

Make sure you call for a shipping quote. Samco will probably charge $60 or more for a case to California. If you buy one, make sure they ship the wood case, too! They like to say it comes in one and then they ship without it.

I'm hoping that they'll not be the only ones to get this so I can buy some from a better dealer...

They are the only big Internet C&R dealer I have not bought from, I have not heard good things about dealing with them.

If I had the cash right now, I would buy ten cases and stack them up to wait for 2016. I bet you will be able to double your money in a year and a half, not a bad investment strategy. I think at the height of the insanity last year I saw these selling for $500.00 to $600.00 on Gunbroker and they were selling. In 2016, when the witch assumes control and goes for the jugular on us, I could see $700.00 to $800.00 for these, people like to shoot their AKs.

For those that reload, wouldn't it be better in the long run to spend more on this? http://www.sgammo.com/product/red-ar...d-army-standar
