    Enfield folding stock info?

I'm trying to track down any information on this folding stock from South Africa. It was used on No1MkIII's, and No4 rifles, sold as an aftermarket item. From what I've found, it was manufactured by a gunsmith named Bruce Wentzel. I've tried to contact him, but no go so far.

Anyone have any info, ever had one, etc?
    Yeah.

    I'm pissed.

Looks like a cobbled together pistol grip and an FN-FAL paratrooper folding stock.

Actually an R4 stock, knuckle, and a small shop molded grip and adaptor..

I'm trying to hunt down historical info, I just managed to buy one. Kinda rare.
      Yeah.

          Just received a response!

"Round about 1992 I designed folding stock for Ates, Remington, Mosburg, Browning, CBC using surplus military parts.

The stocks could be changed from one to another gun by changing the grips which function as an adapter and grip screws. The market for these started to die by 1996-1997

Around about 1993 I designed the stock for the 303 with a fabricated socket and the knuckle was turned upside down so the stock would fold to the left so it would clear the bolt handle."

So there you go....Hopefully I'll also be able to find out how many, approximately, were made.
          Yeah.

Yep, there's that too...but I'm approaching this from a South African militaria/Bush War period collectors interest.

Quite different. So I'm still looking for that R4 style...
